Albarella is a private island, so the construction of villas and houses was carried out here according to a certain plan and rules. From the land side of the coastal part there is a road leading to it - a bridge on which there is a guard. Access to the island is limited.
Entry is restricted to those who own property here, or by special invitation from such individuals. It's a beautiful place—sea, bays, lush greenery, and a prestigious, closed tourist port.
Albarella — is a private island located in a lagoon 60 km south of Venice. Here you can spend your vacation in complete tranquility or enjoy your favorite sports.
The island (5 km long and 1.5 km wide) is located in the Po Delta National Park and is connected to the mainland by a long causeway.
Albarella is one of the most elegant and well-equipped tourist resorts on the Adriatic.
As I've already mentioned, the island is relatively small and is structured so that you can reach the sea from any point in five minutes at most. To understand it, you have to come, see it, appreciate its uniqueness, and understand how it functions.
Guests' peace of mind and safety are ensured by discreet yet attentive security services 24 hours a day. Access to the island is restricted to private homeowners and their guests.
There's a speed limit of 30 km/h for cars throughout the island. Special routes (such as long causeways through the lagoon) have been created exclusively for cyclists and pedestrians.
During the day, a charming, completely free steam train runs around the island, connecting all the most important points of Albarella.
Services on the island:
- The Office Center (Segreteria) acts as a coordinator for real estate complexes on the island;
- The Island Service Centre offers the following services: rental and maintenance of golf carts and bicycles, a workshop for the latter, an information office, cleaning services for houses and apartments, and it is also possible to rent various types of bicycles;
- Security service;
- Shops of every type and for every taste. They are located in the Centro Commerciale (Centro Commerciale);
- Banqueting and catering services;
- Medical center;
- Sports Center services, including: individual and group swimming lectures for children and adults;
- Golf Club;
- Equestrian Arena;
- Tennis club;
- Archery range;
- Sailing Center of the Island
The average rental price for a 3-4 bedroom villa with a pool and 2-3 bathrooms on the island is +/- €10,000. In August, it's around €15,000. There are villas with huge taverns in the basement.
