For tourists coming to Italy, where there are numerous sites from the UNESCO World Heritage List, we have created a tour called "Journey in the footsteps of the Grand Tour" - a project that will allow modern travelers to follow in the footsteps of young people from the aristocratic families of Europe, who, since the 18th century, actually made the so-called “Great Journey” without fail, getting acquainted with the masterpieces of antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
"We've developed themed routes that will allow you to visit over 200 museums, archaeological sites, temples, country parks, and villas. In addition, participants in the modern 'Grand Journey' will be able to watch theatrical performances at the sites of actual historical events, such as the eruption of Vesuvius on August 24, 79, which destroyed the ancient Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
Tourists can also enjoy the rare opportunity to visit Italy's world-famous ancient excavations and other attractions under the cover of night, when immersion in the reality of bygone eras is most easily achieved and the emotions that filled our ancestors hundreds of years ago can be felt.
Routes of the "In the Footsteps of the Grand Tour" project truly cover all of Italy's most interesting sights. For example, in the South, we offer the following programs:
- Express Excursions
- "Vesuvius and the Buried Cities", during the full moon, you will be able to climb the slopes of the majestic volcano, and also see Pompeii and Herculaneum by candlelight,
- Ravello, Amalfi and the Land of Legends
- "The Splendor of the Bourbons." Visit the opulent palaces of this royal dynasty in Naples and Caserta and witness court balls.
