Textile

Despite the assurances heard from all sides that accessories decide a lot, we will not start building our image with a tie; the basis, according to tradition, will remain a suit. In cold weather, you should pay attention to suits made of flannel wool - thanks to its velvety texture and mixture with cashmere, it will be especially cozy. For connoisseurs of the exclusive, there are luxurious blends of wool with guanaco and vicuna.
Those who spend a lot of time outdoors should pay attention to fabrics that include mohair - it significantly increases the degree. This winter, fabrics with a double face effect are number one on the list of men's wardrobe details that distinguish connoisseurs from the nouveau riche. A special technology of weaving threads made it possible to create two completely different fabric patterns on the front and back sides of the product. In order to produce the desired effect, all you have to do is throw your jacket over the back of the chair with slight carelessness.

Color and pattern
The colors and patterns of fabrics this season are quite familiar: shades of blue, starting with indigo and ending with the color of a raven wing, shades of brown, up to khaki, and, of course, gray, in all its optimistic “diversity.” What will be new to us, gentlemen, is not so much the listed colors as their combinations. For example, this season you can try combining blue with orange, khaki with pink, gray with fuchsia. Although nods to the eternal classics would also be appropriate. For example, you shouldn’t deny yourself the pleasure of pairing blue with white and off-white in your outfit; to go with gray, they offer something more familiar than fuchsia, burgundy, and, well, the standard combination of brown and blue.
Regarding tissue patterns: the cell remains the undisputed leader. All its manifestations are appropriate: from discreet small to bright large, contrasting colors. Moreover, the rule of correlation between the pattern of the suit fabric and the print of the shirt (a large check/stripe suit only with a large check/striped shirt, a small one with a small one) was violated more than once by designers this season, but the exception rather confirms the rule.

Three-piece suit and velvet
This winter, skillful tailors offer fans of the classics in their strictest interpretation a look at their favorite three-piece suits. Moreover, stylists recommend considering such suits not only as an item of business wardrobe, but also as weekend style clothing. For this purpose, for example, the softest fabrics in the “Prince of Wales” check were created. For conversations on the verandas on cold autumn evenings, an ensemble in the spirit of good old England is more justified than ever.
As for the men's suit for the evening, even the most unconservative brands suddenly remembered velvet again. There is nothing wrong with this, but if you want to look stylish, more than fashionable, then pay attention to velvet jackets combined with wool trousers. The tie in this look should be replaced with a bow tie, and under the shirt you should choose cufflinks from the “works of jewelry” category.
If you are a film festival guest or an opera connoisseur, then the right choice would be in favor of blue and dark green velvet. Avoid the banal black and red, especially if it was not your intention to blend in with the color of the carpet. It is completely inappropriate to talk about the timelessness of a tuxedo; we believe that the question does not require explanation.

Double breasted jacket
As always, double-breasted jackets look effortlessly elegant. Moreover, many have finally become accustomed to this retro-style silhouette, and designers have begun to add bold large-check prints to this look.
For those with a slender figure, I recommend wearing a high-neck knitwear with a double-breasted jacket instead of a shirt. For those who are unwavering in choosing single-breasted jackets, designers suggest paying attention to those with patch pockets and soft shoulders, the so-called shirt-jackets. They are nothing new for connoisseurs of comfortable luxury - the houses of Loro Piana, BORRELLI, Brunello Cucinelli have been delighting their fans with these masterpieces of tailoring for several seasons now.

Trousers
There is a completely liberal attitude towards trousers this season: the width is from 19 to 22 cm, the length, as well as the presence of a cuff, is unimportant, the main thing is the fit, which is comfortable for the wearer and pleasing to the eyes of others.
In autumn weather, aqua-treated fabrics become especially popular for trousers - these have been seen in the collections of many fashion houses. However, not all of them can boast that the fabric has acquired water-repellent properties without the addition of chemicals and without the use of nanotechnology, but only due to a special unique twist of the thread.

Knitwear
Knitwear deserves special attention in the fall-winter 2014-2015 collection. This is not the first season that all designers have been offering to wear chunky knit cardigans. I don’t know about you, but I appreciated the convenience of wearing such warm and voluminous knitwear under a quilted vest, especially relevant in nature.
The most important thing in choosing knitwear is to say an uncompromising “no” to synthetic fiber impurities. Particular attention should be paid to the wool of the rare Canadian yak. Totally wintery.
Jumpers, the designs of which are knitted on ancient looms from the finest wool, also continue to excite the imagination. Once you see this rare unit at a garment factory in Italy (there are only three of its kind in the world today), you will forever cease to be surprised at its cost.
The color palette of knitted items, as, indeed, always, is richer than all other items of men's wardrobe: from eggplant and olive to orange and red. The only thing you should pay attention to is the combination with trousers, especially if the color of the trousers is bright, let the accent still be the same.

Coat
This season, designers of both classic and non-classical brands share the belief that there can never be too many coats. The choice is wide: from the timeless military style with metal buttons and shoulder straps to the single-breasted Chesterfield.
The style can be anything, it all depends on the occasion, but fabric is still an uncompromising question. There is no point in talking about the advantages of purchasing a vicuna coat; those whose names are already on the Forbes list are probably aware of this no worse than the author of this text. But it’s still necessary to say a few words about the cashmere coat. The times when cashmere was associated exclusively with shades of beige have sunk into oblivion. Today, global brands offer cashmere in bright, fashionable colors, but one thing remains the same - the highest quality. The best raw materials are from Inner Mongolia, a Chinese province, and the Gobi Desert.
If you like luxury combined with practicality, consider a coat made from camel hair, which has the natural properties of not absorbing moisture - even adding a small amount of camel hair to a cashmere blend significantly improves the outerwear's resistance to getting wet.

Shoes

And finally, shoes. In rainy weather, goodyear shoes will be popular. If you are unfamiliar with this method of sewing shoes, trust the hands of experienced sales consultants, fortunately there are already such in shoe boutiques in our capital.
I advise you to bet on brands with history. As a rule, models from their collections have been tested by time and the tastes of more than one generation of gentlemen. Most importantly, do not forget that your feet should be warm and your head should be cold.
