Bibione - this is a small resort town located in an area called the Venetian Riviera (about 60 km to the famous city on the canals).
In the former fishing village, 60 years ago, a lot of money was invested so that a huge beach would appear along the low-lying Adriatic coast, stretching for 8 kilometers (by the way, as in the town of Lido di Jesolo, the closest to Venice, with which Bibione is often compared). But at the same time, Bibione beach is the widest on the coast - the water flows of the Baselege and Tagliamento rivers carried a huge amount of sand to the sea, which only had to be leveled to create a “scourge” - a strip in some places of more than 200 meters.
